Women's Championship Scenarios

Here is what to look for if teams want to advance to knockout round for the national championship (simplified scenarios only):

Pool A
Ohio State & Baylor advance. Winner of game wins pool. If there is a tie, Ohio State would win on Most Goals For Tiebreak.
Cornell is 3rd place and will head to Consolation Bracket
Ohio State v. Baylor at 6:30pm tonight.

Pool B
Colorado "Gold" and Kansas advance. Winner of game wins pool. **If there is a tie, since both beat Michigan 2-1, there would be a perfect tie and a PK shootout prior to next match**
Michigan is 3rd place an will head to Consolation Bracket
Colorado "Gold" vs. Kansas at 6:30pm tonight

Pool C
Texas A&M v. UNC at 6:30pm tonight
If A&M wins, they win group, UNC advances if they lose by 1 goal.
If A&M wins, they win group, Miami U advances if UNC loses by 3 goals.
If UNC wins, they win group, A&M advances in 2nd. Miami U 3rd.
If there is a tie, A&M wins group, UNC 2nd, Miami U 3rd.
**If there is a 2 goal difference victory for A&M, tiebreaker rules will be in effect.

Pool D
UCSB v. Virginia Tech at 6:30pm tonight
If UCSB wins or there is a tie, they win group, Delaware 2nd, Virginia Tech 3rd.
**If Virginia Tech wins, tiebreaker procedures are in effect.

Pool E
Boston College v. Colorado State 8:15p tonight.
Both advance to 2nd round, winner wins group, loser is 2nd place.
If there is a tie, Colorado State wins group with Most Goals For

Pool F
Texas "A" v. Michigan State. 8:15p tonight
Both advance to 2nd round, winner wins group, loser is 2nd place.
If there is a tie Texas "A" wins group with higher goal differential

Pool G
Cal Poly v. Georgia 8:15p tonight.
Both advance to 2nd round, winner wins group, loser is 2nd place.
If there is a tie, Cal Poly wins group with higher goal differential.

Pool H
Indiana v. Pittsburgh 8:15p tonight.
Winner is 2nd, loser is 3rd.
If there is a tie, Pittsburgh advances on most goals for.
